Whitnoyl: This is an extract derived from red algae, specifically isolating the oligosaccharide portion, which mainly consists of xylose and galactose. It regulates the melanogenesis process by inhibiting tyrosinase, reducing melanin synthesis. Additionally, it inhibits the synthesis of Stem Cell Factor (SCF), controlling pigment production from photoinduced pigmentation. This helps to reduce the stimulation from UV light that leads to increased melanin production. Experimental results show that Whitnoyl reduces tyrosinase production by 27% and SCF synthesis by 81%, effectively controlling pigment formation caused by UV exposure.
